I have always been concerned about my hair health. It has been a constant stress to see it so lifeless. So four weeks ago I took to task the challenge of reviving my hair health and find somethings to do to keep the care routine regular.

Here are two easy ways in which I feel better about my roots and ends:

1. Yogurt + Honey + Olive Oil

Benefit – Deep Conditioning

Ingredient 

Yogurt – Fatty Acids, Shine
Honey – Anti-Inflammatory,  Moisturizing
Olive Oil – Softness, Strength

Mix

1/2 cup yogurt
3 tsp honey
2 tablespoon olive oil
Mix the ingredients well into a smooth paste and apply generously on your hair, all the way from roots to the tips. Leave it on for minimum 30mins (I like to leave it on for about 2hours) and then wash off with a mild shampoo.

Note
– it is a sticky paste so don’t rub your hair while applying the mix (will cause a lot of hair breakage), just apply it and gently massage with your finger tips.

2. Ghee (Clarified Indian Butter)

Benefit – Nourishment

Ingredients
Ghee – Hydration, Shine, Healthy and Rich in Fatty Acids
Take 1 tablespoon ghee and warm it up till it liquifies, then apply generously on your hair, all the way from roots to the tips. Leave it on for minimum 30mins (I like to leave it on for about 2hours) and then wash off with a mild shampoo.

Note
– it is a sticky liquid so don’t rub your hair while applying the mix (will cause a lot of hair breakage), just apply it and gently massage with your finger tips.

3. Banana + Yogurt + Honey

Benefit – Shine and Frizz Free

Ingredients
Banana – Natural Botox, Potassium, Natural Oils
Yogurt – Fatty Acids, Shine
Honey – Anti-Inflammatory,  Moisturizing

Mix
1 cup sliced banana
2 tablespoon yogurt
2 tablespoon honey
Take the ingredients and blend to paste. Apply evenly on dry or damp hair (better absorption). Wrap with a shower cap or even cling wrap and let it stay for 30-40minutes. Wash off with mild shampoo and conditioner. Repeat the same once a week for frizz free hair.

4. Egg Yolk

Benefit – Replenish Protein

Ingredients
1 egg yolk
Take 1 egg yolk and mix it with your shampoo while washing your hair. Let the shampoo mix just stay in your hair for 2minutes before rinsing off. This takes away from any eggy smell that would worry you and still give the hair the treatment it needs.
